Betty was born June 2, 1932, to the late Luther Calvin and Annie Kate Sutton Mangrum in Screamer, Tennessee.
Betty has been a longtime resident of Mt. Pleasant. Betty had a natural talent for quilting and sewing, making numerous works of art that her family will cherish for years to come. Betty wasn’t much for staying still, she was always on the move finding new things and projects to do. She loved to challenge her mind, you could find her taking things apart and putting them back together, crossword puzzles, she even liked to build birdhouses. When she would take moments for herself, she liked to admire the birds that flew around her home. Above all else, she adored her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
