Betty Davis Clemmons, 75, passed away Feb. 17, 2016, after an extended illness. Mrs. Clemmons was a longtime member of Greenhill First Baptist Church, a member of the Eastern Star, and was retired from the banking industry.
Mrs. Clemmons is survived by sister, Bobbie D. Patterson, of Sharpsburg, Georgia; brother, John Daniel Davis, of Lexington, Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Larry C. Clemmons, and parents, Robert Daniel Davis and Evelyn Davis Smith.
Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, from noon-1 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., graveside, at Greenhill Cemetery. Brother Gregg Woodard will officiate. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.
The family would like to send a special thanks to all of Mrs. Clemmons’ caregivers and hospice personnel.
