Mrs. Betty D. Lewey, age 82, of Florence, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013.
The graveside service will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Rev. Henry Melton officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
Mrs. Lewey is survived by sons Mike Lewey and wife Wynn, and Ronnie Lewey and wife Marie, all of Florence; a daughter Kathy Floyd and husband Cary of Madison; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother Jim Ed Danley and wife Barbara of Leighton; sisters Doris Gresham and husband Jim, Direnda Dolan and husband Bobby, and Carolyn Perkins, all of Florence.
Mrs. Lewey was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Lewey, her parents Noah and Helen Danley, brothers H.L. Danley and Don Danley, and a sister Martha Danley.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Hospice of North Alabama and Eldercare for the care given Mrs. Lewey.
