Betty Christine Edgil, age 85, of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, August 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Edgil was preceded in death by her Father-Will Carrell; Mother-Mary Eliza Carrell; Brothers-Marler Carrell, Bryant Carrell and C.W. Carrell; Sisters-Ellen Louis, Mildred Cain, Ernestine Boshell and Grace Jones; Brothers-in-law-J.L. Edgil, Leonard Edgil, Stancil Edgil and Guy Edgil; Sister-in-law-Irene Edgil; Great Granddaughter-Ivy Graacyn Redmill.
She is survived by her Husband-Joe Nathan Edgil; Daughter-Wanda Edgil Helms (Dennis); Son-Joseph Don Edgil (Marilyn); Sisters-in-law-Roberta Estes and Christine Keener; Brother-Marion Carrell; Grandchildren-Kelli Jo Taylor (Daniel) and Amanda Jane Redmill (Steve); 13 Step Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; 8 Step Great Grandchildren; 3 Step Great-Great Grandchildren; Host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
