Betty Catherine Carwile Wallace, age 72 of Athens passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Wallace was born September 30, 1946 to James Alex Carwile and Mary Earline Carter.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wallace will be held Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Joel Carwile, Bro. Bob White and Bro. Greg Patrick officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elk View Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Wallace was a member of Blackburn Road Baptist Church. She loved to paint and loved all things Little House on the Prairie.
She is survived by her husband, J.W. Wallace; sons, Dennis Wallace (Virginia), David Wallace (Tena) and Bubba Wallace (Vickie); daughter, Lori Graham (Michael); sisters, Dorothy Phillips and Ann Thorn; brothers, Allen Carwile, Bobby Carwile, Ray Carwile, Kenny Carwile and Glenn Carwile; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
