Betty Carolyn Smith, 82 passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Southern Magnolia, Golden, MS. She was born in Alabama to Frank and Mattie Barker Strawbridge. She worked at Golden Manufacturing as a supervisor for 40 years.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 6, 3:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. David Corum and Scotty Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by 4- Daughters- Lisa Carol Massey (Tim), Tina Renee Smith (Boker), Teresa Lynn Robinson (Andy), Sheila Dianne Smith, daughter dog- Georgia Faye Smith, 7- Grandchildren, 4- Great Grandchildren and a special cousin/sister-Jane Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband- Bobby Joe Smith and her beloved only son- David Joseph Smith, 1-sister and 1- brother
Pallbearers will be Jordan Massey, Braxton Massey, Ricky Garrison, Harley Robinson, Dewayne Palmer.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 5, 6-9 at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
