Funeral services for Betty Carol Jarrett, age 76, are scheduled for Wednesday April 19, 2023, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in at Ridgecrest Cemetery at 4PM. Ms. Jarrett passed away Friday April 14,2023 in Medina, TN.
She was born on July 17, 1946, to the late G.W. and Christeen Wilson McNutt in Pontotoc, MS. She was a Reserve Deputy with the Madison County Sherriff’s Department. Ms. Jarrett was also a Patrol Officer with the Jackson Police Department for many years, during her time with JPD she was also assigned to Community Relations Division where she coordinated the Citizens Police Academy before her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Humboldt, TN.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Ronald Petty (Angie) Jackson, TN; daughter, Tisha Julian (Dustin) Medina, TN; and three grandchildren. Bryce Petty Nashville, TN; Savannah Beaton Medina, TN; and Cade Petty Nashville, TN.
