Betty Boyd Barnett, 77, of Decatur passed away Monday October 24th, 2022.
Mrs. Barnett was born June 28th 1945 to Ruben and Willie Mae Darnell Boyd. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Johnny Pylant, daughter Judy Hurn, 3 sisters Rachel Gulley, Frankie Stacy and Jean Summers, 3 brothers Ronnie Boyd , David Boyd and Neal Boyd.
Survivors include her sons Victor Pylant (Kelly) of Decatur, Tracy Pylant of Decatur; daughters Pam Howard of Hartselle, Jennifer Gates of Athens, Angie Joseph (Brian) of Columbia TN, brother Thomas Boyd, Faye Spencer, Dot Hill, Sue Coons, Debbie Boyd; 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday October 26th from 12-3pm at McConnell Funeral Home. Service will be at 3pm at McConnell officiated by Bro. Rick Craft and Shawn Gulley. Burial to follow at New Garden Cemetery.
