Betty Ann Gravitt, age 75 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away May 30, 2024. She was born in Haleyville, AL. and attended school in Delmar, AL. Betty met Terry Gravitt in 1964 and was married in 1966. They would have been married 58 years in September. She raised four children during her time here on Earth, she was a faithful member of the Pathway Church of God all her adult life.
Visitation will be Monday, June 3, 2024 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Mark Fell and Dewayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Botush Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband Terry Wayne Gravitt; children, Bubba Wayne Gravitt (Karen), Mandy LaShae Phillips (Jon) and Brandy LeAnn Rogers (Craig); grandchildren, Kaylin Marie Brasher (Blade), Courtney Leanne Edwards (Christian), Brody Lee Gravitt, Reagan LaShae Phillips, Jonathan Dawson Phillips and Anakate Marie Rogers; great granddaughter, Remi Jo Brasher; sister, Joyce Ann Reogas (Kyle); and a host of nieces and nephews are also surviving.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Ann Gravitt; parents, Elbert and Kate Aderholt Vickery.
Betty was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She loved to cook, attend church, go to Piggly Wiggly for the sales and spend time with her family. She was the rock and backbone that kept the family in line and on the straight and narrow. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and community.
