Betty Ann Eley, age 84, a resident of Fifth Avenue in Columbia, Tennessee passed away on November 8, 2024.
Born on November 1, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Claude W. and Della Ann Langham Bennett. She was a member of Northview Church of Christ.
She and her late husband, Ronald, were the owners of Eley’s TV Service and Sales for many years. In addition, she also worked at Bi-Lo as a pharmacy technician.
She is survived by her daughter: Ronda Ann Eley of Columbia, Tennessee; special niece: Stephanie Goodwin of Waynesboro, Tennessee as well as several other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband: Ronald Dennis Eley; her sisters: Bertha Blocker, Alice Colvett, Jewel Briceno and Joyce Schrimscher; and brothers: Willie Claude Bennett and Charles C. Bennett.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee and on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00PM at Williams Funeral Home. A funeral service for Mrs. Eley will be conducted at Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Columbia, Tennessee at 1:00 PM with Jeremy Butt officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia, Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be her nephews: Ricky Bennett, David Blocker, Gary Colvett, Tony Brown, Danny Brown, Charles Bennett Jr, Andy Bennett, and Bradley Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Northview Church of Christ.
Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
