Ms. Betty Alice Robinson, age 71, a lifelong resident of Arab, Alabama, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025 at her sister’s residence in Somerville, AL. Betty was born in Marshall County, AL on October 27, 1953. Her parents were Troy Franklin Miller and Rosie Elizabeth Johnson. Betty worked and retired from Chrysler Corporation where she was part of the production and assembly section.
Betty had a variety of interests and hobbies. Chief among those were her family and friends. Spending time with her grandchildren, vacationing with friends, visiting the beach, Guntersville Lake and the Smokey Mountains were considered quality time. She also found time to fish, plant her flowers, bird watch, woodwork, and take care of her yard.
Family members Betty leaves behind to cherish precious memories include; sons, Frankie Otwell (Belinda) and Timothy Otwell; granddaughters, Britany Sharp and Haley Benitez (Coty); grandsons, Blake Otwell and Brandon Otwell; five great grandchildren; and sister, Brenda Henderson (Wesley).
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Rosie Miller; husband, Jimmy Robinson; brother, Glenn Miller and her special great grandson, Corbin Benitez.
Betty will be honored with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Honeycomb Holines Church, 29750 US-431, Grant, AL 35747. Brother Nicholas Nix will officiate. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel entrusted with arrangements. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers please consider sympathy plants or keepsakes.
