Memorial service for Betty Aittala, 80, of Hartselle will be Monday, April 6, 2015, at 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God in Clinton, KY. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Hickman County, KY. The family will have a visitation with friends from 1 p.m. until service time.
Mrs. Aittala passed away quietly in her sleep during her stay at Huntsville Hospital on Tuesday, March 31, 2015. She was born June 8, 1934, in Hickman County, KY, to Turney Lewis Dody and Lena O’Neal Dody. She was a homemaker. Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Aittala; one son, Michael Garzo’n of Riverside, CA; three daughters, Betty Ann Domingus of Portland, OR, Barbara Wolman of California and Alicia Starr of Oregon; two stepsons, Eric Aittala of North Carolina and William Aittala of Riverside, CA; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
