Bettie Carol Noland White, age 75 of Franklin, TN passed away January 26, 2024. She was born in Franklin, TN on July 13, 1948 to the late J.C. “Carroll” & Elvin King Noland.
After graduation from Franklin High School with the class of 1966, Bettie and Frank married and settled on the White family farm on Mallory Station Road. They would later bring home two sons, Tarpley and Jason, and create many happy memories camping, vacationing, and enjoying the outdoors together. Her family was her greatest love. Bettie worked at the Franklin Post Office until 1976, whereupon she earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education at MTSU. She then became a favorite elementary school teacher and tutor of more than four decades’ worth of students in the Franklin Special School District. Bettie also was a talented artist and seamstress. Many loved ones, friends, and community members have enjoyed receiving her paintings, quilts, and crafts. Bettie had a sweet tooth and enjoyed baking and sharing her world-famous cinnamon rolls and chocolate chip cookies with her loved ones. She was an animal lover and had numerous dogs over the years to spoil. Bettie had a lot to love, but her most favorite activity was spending time with her grandkids.
Bettie is preceded in death by her husband, Frank White; son, Tarpley White; brothers, Jack Noland and Leon Noland; daughter in-law, Kim White. She is survived by her son, Jason White and fiancé, Lauren Weibert; grandchildren, Hunter White and Riley White; sister in-law, Jean Hood; nieces, Jennifer (Dee) Peppers, Donna Hood, Joe Anna (Victor) Hood, Margaret Hood, and Tammy (Ben) Jones; nephews, Joel (Emily) Hood, Will (Tiffany) Noland, and Jamie (Natalie) Noland; great nieces, Abbie Oldham, Brylie Noland, Ellie Noland, Gina Locke Stewart, and Presley Noland; great-nephews, Nikko Hood and Ryan Locke; special friends, Larry Whitford and Helen Taylor who gave her great joy and love; and many other loving family members.
The family would like to thank Kimberly and Gracie of Symphony Assisted Living, as well as Jesse of Aveanna Hospice for taking excellent care of Bettie in her final days.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, February 3, 2024 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
