Bettie Anderson, age 82 of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024. She worked 20 years at Lay’s 5 & 10, then she worked as a cashier at Walmart for 30 plus years before retiring in 2015.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her sister, Jewel Anderson of Scottsboro, AL.; brother, Gene Anderson of Scottsboro, AL.; nephew, Jonathan (Michelle) Anderson of Arab, AL., niece, Carol (Tony) Barnett of Falkville, AL.; great nephews, Taylor Anderson of Arab, AL., and Alen Brannon of Hartselle, AL.; great niece, Kaitlyn Anderson (Brandon Henry) of Arab, AL.; great-great niece, Clara Rae Henry of Arab, AL.
Mrs. Anderson was is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Anderson and Mary Gamble Anderson.
Funeral Services with be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Dr. Matt Helms, and Dr. Robert Gamble officiating. The burial will be in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family of the late Mrs. Bettie Anderson will receive friends on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
