A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Bessie Lee Smith Alexander, 89, will be Friday, December 6, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Union Hill Cemetery with Bro. Jason McAbee officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, December 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Alexander passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at her residence. She was born April 30, 1935, in Winston County, to Richard Earl Smith and Mildred Pauline Montgomery Smith.
She was a Baptist in her faith, and a homemaker for her family, whom she loved dearly. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was so proud when she got her first great-great granddaughter, because that started the 5th generation of her family.
Preceding her in death were her husband; Charley Delane Alexander and her parents.
Survivors include:

Scott Alexander
Daughter – Annette Frost (Roger)
Six Grandsons –
Eric Alexander (Katie), Craig Alexander (Beth),
Phillip Frost (Nikki), Matthew Frost, Jay Frost, and
Thomas Alexander (Brittany)
Eight Great Grandchildren –
Kelby Alexander (Savannah), Gracie Alexander,
Kaden Alexander, Anna Rose Styles (Will), Ella Alexander,
Sawyer Alexander, Bryant Alexander, and Mason Alexander.
Two Great Great Granddaughters –
Nora Alexander and Vivian Alexander.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
