Bessie “Bonnie” Katherine Solomon, age 94 of Winchester, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Bessie was born on May 23, 1929, in Winchester, Tennessee to the late Jimmie Clarence and Elvera Lillian (Brasier) Rolman. She retired from Jack Daniels as a line laborer in the bottling division. Bessie will be remembered by her family as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Solomon and brother, James Rolman. Bessie is survived by her children, Donna Solomon (Richard) Lewis, Michael (Karen) Solomon, Kathy (Milton) Binkley and Marvin Solomon; grandchildren, Connie Riddle, Ryan (Kellye) Riddle, Eric (Brittany) Riddle, Alayna (Adam) Gurley, Jamie (Stefanie) Solomon, Meghan (Brian) Bailey, Lindsay Blazier (fiancé Paul Bennett), Whitney (Quinton) Crockett , Marvin Jones Keaton and Kelton Solomon; great-grandchildren, Madison Riddle, Keiryan Riddle, Xander Gurley, Victoria Bailey, Callie Bailey, River Solomon, Teisa Solomon, Konner Blazier, Peyton Bennett, Eli Bennett, Madisyn Bennett, Kaylin Hill, Autumn Hill and Layana Crockett; sister, Mary Rolman and other relatives. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 11:00am from Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
