Bess Pretty Clemons, age 78, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Visitation will be Friday, November 2, 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will be Saturday, November 3, 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jacky Ward and Bro. Keith Montgomery officiating. Interment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tyler Purser, Craig Marshall, Taylor Pretty, Matthew Butler, Bobby Montgomery, David Baskins and Jason Anyan. Bess was known as the “Penny Lady”. She would give everyone she met a penny with a smiley face. She retired as an Avon Representative of 30 years and was a member of Stateline Church.
