Bess Pratt Wallace, 88, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday. Mrs. Wallace was predeceased by her parents, Neida and Tracy Pratt of Huntsville, and her beloved husband, John H. Wallace III. Survivors include her daughter, Tracy Pratt Wallace of Huntsville and numerous family friends.
Mrs. Wallace graduated from Sweet Briar College in 1948. She was a founding trustee of Randolph School and worked with many community organizations and charities.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2 at The Church of the Nativity, Episcopal, with a memorial service immediately following with the Rev. Rusty McCown and the Rev. Dan McKee officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Church of the Nativity, the Altar or Flower Guild Fund, Randolph School or A New Leash on Life.
