Bertie Cleo Hamrick, age 92, of Empire, passed away September 20, 2020. Cleo was a kind and loving but above all she was a strong and independent woman. She worked as a secretary for many years. She enjoyed knitting and working crossword puzzles. She had a special relationship with her cousin and caregiver, Judy Stewart. A graveside service for Cleo will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in New Horizon Memorial Gardens.
