Bertha Mae Watkins, 91, of Madison, Alabama passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Valley View Nursing Home in Madison, Alabama.
Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond McConnell and Susie Marlowe McConnell, her husband, Glen Watkins, one son, Tim Watkins, as well as several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by one son, Barry (Toni) Watkins, three grandchildren: Barry Watkins II, Jolie Browder, and Jacie Dawkins, as well as three great grandchildren: Thatcher Watkins, Spencer Watkins, and Norah Watkins.
Bertha lived around the Ardmore area for the majority of her life and enjoyed spending time with her family that she loved dearly as well as singing hymns and country music.
The family has made plans to have a private service at a later date.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
