A Celebration of Life service for Bertha Mae Carmon, 80 of Corinth, MS, will be Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 2:30 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow at Juliette Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Kevin Absher will officiate the service. Visitation will Be Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 12:30 to 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home- East. Mrs. Carmon passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at her residence. She was born October 23, 1940 to Howard Willie Kelley and Jewell Strickland Kelley. She was a homemaker/seamstress and a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. Bertha is survived by her sons, Ronnie Carmon and wife Julie of Walnut MS and Randy Carmon and wife Tina of Rienzi, MS; her daughter, Wanda Carmon of Corinth, MS; six grandchildren, Laurie Russell (Cory), Amanda Morgan (Daniel), Holley Foster (Zack), Kimberly Scott (Johnny), Misty Wilkerson (Damian Yates) and Ron Carmon(Amanda); eight great grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; sisters, Nellie Modlin of Corinth, MS and Kathryn Montgomery and husband Ricky of Corinth, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Alton Carmon; her father Howard Willie Kelley; her mother, Jewell Strickland Kelley; her brothers, Floyd Kelley, Joe Kelley and Jimmy Kelley and her sister, Brenda Joyce Kelley. Pallbearers will be Johnny Scott, Damian Yates, Daniel Morgan, Zack Foster, Robert Christie and Zip Washburn. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Bertha Mae Carmon.
