Bertha Lucille Lindsey, age 93, of Tuscumbia, died Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Her family will receive friends Saturday, 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Don Singleton and Bro. A. G. Stepp officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Lindsey was a life-long resident of Colbert County and a member of Jonesboro Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Lindsey, parents, B. L. and Callie Dalrymple, brother, Lonnie Dalrymple and sister, Earline McCollister.
She is survived by her sons, James Lindsey (Patsy) and Ray Lindsey (Elaine), daughters, Elois Latham, Dale Smith (David) and Debbie Singleton (Don), her brothers, James Dalrymple, Nelson Dalrymple and Harold Dalrymple, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-five great- grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the activities department at Cottage of Shoals.
Mrs. Lindsey’s family would like to especially thank the staff of Cottage of the Shoals for their excellent care of our Mother and also, Velma, Becky, and Melissa of Hospice Advantage.
