Bertha Elizabeth Alsup Franks, age 89, of Leoma, TN passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was a native of Minor Hill, TN, retired from Forrest Hills, and a member of Leoma Church of Christ for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cullum and Roxie Anna Thompson Alsup; and her husband, John Thomas “Tommy” Franks, Sr.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 17, 2015. Interment will follow at Fall River Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
