Bernice Smith Courington, age 93, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Thursday, February 12th, 2015, at her residence.
Visitation, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Saturday, February 14th, 2015, at Pleasant Ridge Church in Hamilton, Alabama. Funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15th, 2015, at the church. Bobby Duncan officiating. Burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.
Ms. Courington was born May 26th, 1921, in Franklin County, Alabama, to Dennis Smith and Della Lawler Smith.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Gloria (Gene) Pope, Billie Jo (Steve) Miller, and Jane Permenter; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Dennis “Junior” Smith, and Charles (Linda) Smith; and other relatives and friends.
