Bernice Faye Kilgore, 86, of Jasper, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at Ridgeview Health Services. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Walker Memory Gardens. John Ed Pinion will officiate.
Bernice loved her gardening, flowers, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Kilgore; parents, M.C. and Cora Ellen Kilgore; siblings, Sue Hogan, Tammer Duncan, Sylvia Barker, Bill Kilgore, and Dick Kilgore.
She is survived by her children, Deb Deason (Dewayne), Janice Trotter, Steve Kilgore, And Kevin Kilgore (Michelle); grandchildren, Kyle Christian, Jessica Vickery (Daniel), Blake Hopper (Chris), and Tyler Kilgore (Haley); sisters, Evelyn Myers and Ann Rice; great grandchildren, Lawson Christian, Nolan Christian, Owen Vickery, Mazie Vickery, Brycen Hopper, Jax Hopper, and Callie Hopper; a special thanks to Ridgeview Health Services, Southeast Hospice (Deidra Parnell), and special friends Carolyn Timmons and Missy Gilbert.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Gideons International.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Christian, Tyler Kilgore, Daniel Vickery, and Dewayne Deason.
