Bernice Daisy Bowen Petty was born November 4, 1915 in Alcorn County, MS the daughter of the late Willie and Ollie Hindmon Bowen.
She was united in marriage to Lurley Petty. Mr. Petty preceded her in death on February 8, 1984.
Mrs. Petty was a Sales Representative for Watkin’s Products for many years. She enjoyed the company of her dogs. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Michie, Tennessee.
Mrs. Petty departed this life on May 27, 2014 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 98 Years, 6 Months, 23 Days. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Petty was preceded in death by
two sisters, Marie Bryant, Mozell (Bowen) Lamb; two brothers, Lowell Bowen, Joe L. Bowen.
