Bernadine Lukasik, age 97, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2024, at LifeCare Center in Columbia, Tennessee. Born on February 24, 1927, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Michael and Rose Kinsler, Bernadine lived a long and fulfilling life.
Known for her private and meticulous nature, Bernadine was a perfectionist who found joy in maintaining a schedule and daily routine. Sundays were special to her, as she loved spending the day at the movies.
Bernadine is reunited with her husband: Frank Lukasik, sister: Maria Oneka; and her parents.
She is survived by her loving son, Mark Lukasik, and his wife, Barbara; her cherished grandchildren, Mark Lukasik Jr. (Amanda) and Jonathan Lukasik (Lauren); and her adored great-grandchildren, Collin, Mallory, and Charlie Sue Lukasik. Bernadine is also survived by her dear sisters, Katherine Bell and Rita Kordalski.
A service for Bernadine will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Bernadine will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Mausoleum following the service.
