Mr. Benny Sutton Hale, age 72 of Huntsville passed away April 12, 2018.
No truer friend was Benny Hale. His life was a testament to that. A kind and generous man to all he knew. A dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was also known for his love of sports. His pride was being on the Board of Directors for the Huntsville/Madison County Athletic Hall of Fame. Not only did he coach many sports, he was an avid spectator. He and his buddies have travelled to all of the baseball stadiums in the U.S. Add to that season UAH basketball tickets, SEC tournaments and NASCAR. The list goes on and on.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, daughter, Michelle Cooper and husband Eric, son Mark Hale, stepsons Nathan and Evan Basler, and grandchildren Danica, Nicholas, and Oliver.
Visitation is Wednesday, April 18, 2018, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral service is Thursday, April 19, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home with Steve Hale officiating. Burial will be in Cochran Cemetery.
