Mr. Benny Martwain Carr, age 85 of the Union Hill community of Morgan County passed away November 6, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Carr was born on March 2, 1936 in Luverne, Alabama to the late A.B & Pauline Carr. Mr. Carr retired from the Redstone Arsenal working with missile command. Mr. Carr enjoyed farming and spending his days with his canine companion “Buster”. He enjoyed attending church at Highland Baptist and loved his church family.
Mr. Carr will be forever remembered by his loving family, daughters, Holly B. Alderton, Mary Susan Carr, Paula Gatlin; grandchildren, Eric Snipes, Rachael Gatlin Barfield, Rebecca Region (Christian), Lois Gatlin, Spencer Region, Olivia Landreth; great grandchildren , Riley Region, Rhett Region, Reese Region.
In addition to his parents; Mr. Carr is at last reunited with his loving son, Marty Carr; brother, Sammy Carr; sister, Mary Strickland.
A visitation will be held at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Funeral Service will be held at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel on Tuesday – November 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in the Highland Cemetery with Bro. Craye Hall officiating.
