Bennie Edward Ganno, age 74, beloved husband of Vicki (Silverman) Ganno, and a resident of College Grove, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Bennie was born in Henderson, Kentucky on April 11, 1949, and was the son of the late Bennie Ganno and the late Dora Ankelbach Ganno. Bennie was a veteran of the United Sates Navy having served in the Vietnam war. Bennie married Vicki Silverman on May 30, 1987. He was a firefighter in the Henderson, Kentucky area prior to his early retirement.
Bennie was a man of exceptional talents, possessing the ability to grow anything and maintain a beautiful garden, an exceptional cook and grill master. An avid outdoorsman in his earlier years, Bennie found joy in hiking and fishing, however, his greatest pleasure came from spending with his wife. He was a devoted member of Fly Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother, Bill (Linda) Ganno of Montana, and a sister Sharon Dougan of Texas. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter.
