Funeral Services for Mrs. Bennie Ann Haynes, age 83 of Lineville, will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. David Holcombe officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Haynes passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the Clay County Nursing Home. She was born in the Birmingham Area and has been a Clay County native since her 20’s. She worked at Southland Manufacturing, was a Bus Driver for the Clay County School System, served as a House Parent for the Boy’s Ranch, and worked at Wellborn Cabinets as a machine operator and in the inventory department. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, and cooking for her family. She helped around the farm and was a hard-working woman. Mrs. Haynes had a wonderful sense of humor and was a member of Center West Baptist Church.
Mrs. Haynes is survived by her children: Ricky Haynes (Cindy) of Lineville, Danny R. Haynes of Ashland, Tim Haynes (Sonya) of Lovettsville, VA, and Donna Haynes of Barfield; her daughter-in-love, Donna Rollins (Steve) of Woodland; her step-daughter, Maggie Dawson of Thorsby; nine grandchildren: Jacob Haynes, Lucas Haynes, Danielle Conner, Clayton Haynes, Christopher Haynes, Hannah Neel, Donald Hayes, Haley Hayes, and Holley Hayes; 11 great-grandchildren; her niece, Debbie Schoggins Turnbloom of Albany, GA, and a large extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Benjamin and Annie Bell Curry Schoggins; her husband, Donald Ray Haynes; three brothers and four sisters.
Jacob Haynes, Lucas Haynes, Cody Hayes, Caleb Conner, C.L. Neel, and Steve Rollins will serve as pallbearers.
Her visitation will take place on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
