Funeral services for Ben Walter Chandler, 42, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ben Bates officiating. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Chandler, who died Friday, September 20, 2013, at his residence, was born April 3, 1971, in Hartselle to Ben F. Chandler and Carol Horn Chandler.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Horn Montgomery; brother, Chris Chandler “Robbie” of Hartselle; sister, Kayna Chandler of Hazel Green; nephews, Bailey Chandler, Chandler Hardin, Conner Hardin and Tyler Crowe; and his niece Hannah Allen.
Pallbearers will be Jason McClure, Donnie Dotson, Thomas Abernathy, Johnny Horn, Matt Case, Chris Chandler and Doug Eaton.
