Mr. Ben Thom, age 89, of Boaz, Alabama, died on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at his residence.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, with Bro. Michael Marsh and Bro. Steve Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. There will not be a formal visitation.
Mr. Thom was born in Alabama on March 20, 1934, to Theodore & Florene Mauldin Thom. He was a retired Air Force Veteran.
Mr. Thom is survived by his Wife: Miriam Thom, Daughter: Melinda & Tim Crowden Grandchildren: Jeremy & Haley Crowden of Boaz, and Brianna & Wesley Musick all of Boaz, Great Grandson: Lucas Musick, Brother: Ted Thom of Decatur. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Theodore & Florene Thom and Aunt: Jesse Dean.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice, 408 Martling Road, Albertville, AL 35951.
