Ben Arnold passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at his residence in Decatur, Alabama. He was born August 18, 1958, in Jackson County, to Matt Arnold and Ann Hamilton. He was employed as a senior mechanical design contractor for Southern Company.
He is survived by his wife, Dana Arnold; daughter, Beth Phillips (Brent); sons, Corey Haston, Chris Haston, and Anthony Haston (Keisha); mother, Ann Hamilton; brothers, Rob Arnold (Pam), John Hamilton; grandchildren, Kolden Phillips, Ryder Phillips, Joshua Patterson, Christopher Haston, Caiden Haston, Avarie Haston Kambree Haston, and Kaitlyn Haston.
He was preceded in death by his father, Matt Arnold.
Memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service.
