Belton Stanley Dickens, age 83, a resident of Columbia, passed way Friday, November 29, 2024, at his residence.

Born on January 7, 1941, in Colbert County, Alabama, Belton was the son of the late James Garfield Dickens and the late Lulu Bell Dickens. Belton was a supervisor at Mobile Chemical Plant in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. He liked to deer hunt, travel and play pool. Belton and his beloved wife Doris were married for thirty-two years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Kerry (Terri) Dickens, Scott Dickens, and step son, Randy Jackson, daughter, Margo Penrod and step daughter, Vicky Jackson, brother, Roy Dickens, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Stan Dickens, brother Jimmy and sisters Alice, Lucille, Linda, Jan, Shelby, and Mildred.
