Belinda Joanna Dobbs passed away on January 25, 2024, at the home of Gary King in Foley, Alabama. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The Celebration of Life service will begin at 3:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev. David McKelvey officiating. She will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery.
She is survived by husband, Gary Dobbs; one brother, Gary King (Linda); step-son, Gary Dobbs, Jr. (Melanie) Red Bay, AL; step-daughter, Dr. Shannon Dobbs (Joshua Parker) Vincent, AL; grandsons, Tommy Dobbs and Jackman Parker.
She was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Walker; father, William “Bill” King; mother, Sarah Whitman King; grandparents, Robert Roy and Emma Grissom Whiteman and grandparents, William P. and Mamie Pace King.
Belinda attended Austin High School and graduated in 1972, she attended the University of Alabama and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Education. She taught kindergarten through 8th grade.
