Belinda Jo Winters, age 70 of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, died Friday, May 5, 2023 at Tri Star NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 1:00PM on Wednesday, May 10th with Bro. Barry Throneberry and Bro. Joe Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Wednesday from 11:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Mrs. Winters was born on April 12, 1953 in Nashville, Tennessee to Clifford Gibson and the late Ruby Gibson. She began her teaching career in Davidson County, and then in Cheatham County at Pleasant View Elementary and Sycamore Middle School. She finished her career as a student teacher supervisor at Austin Peay State University for a total of 44 years in education. She was a member of Main Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by a brother, Mark Gibson.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 42 years, Rick Winters; son Matt Winters; daughter, Allison (Charlie) Jackson; sister, Donna (Bruce) Atkins; grandchildren, Leighton Ruby-Marie Jackson and Cooper James Jackson; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
