Beatrice Posey Green of Scottsboro, Alabama was born on February 16, 1943 in Sinking Cove, Tennessee and died at her home on March 12, 2024.
She was a successful business owner of Green’s Florist over 25 years and also owned a hair salon for many years as well. She was a member of Broad Street Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by sons, Roger Guess, Jimmy (Tina) Guess, and Randall (Heidi) Guess; grandchildren, Ivy Guess Paulin, Nickolas Guess, Emily Guess, Jarod Guess, and Logan Guess; great granddaughter, Nora Paulin; brothers, Arthur Posey and Dale Posey; sister, Ann Henninger; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fannie & Odis D. Posey; siblings, Brenda Posey, Helen Kirk, J.D. Posey, and Gail Matthews; and husband, Gus Guess, Jr. and Doug Green.
Visitation will be at Scottsboro Funeral Home on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Jackson Cemetery in Sinking Cove, Tennessee on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 1 p.m.
