Mrs. Beatrice H. Davenport age 96, formerly of McMinnville, TN, died Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Florida. Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Gath Baptist Church. Ray Gilder will officiate. Interment will follow at Gath Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family is also requesting for everyone to wear facial masks and practice social distancing regardless of vaccination status due to the spike of Covid-19 Delta Variant.
Beatrice was an owner and operator of One-Hour Martinizing Dry Cleaning in McMinnville. She also worked at Graber’s Department Store and Batesville Casket Company. She volunteered at River Park Hospital and with Meals-on-Wheels.
Beatrice is survived by her daughter Linda Jones and her husband Jack of Titusville, her son Rev. Michael Cantrell and his wife Brenda of Milan, Indiana, 5 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and her sister Lucy Snyder of Alexandria, Tennessee.
