Beatrice Fain Malone, 87 of Athens, Alabama died on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at Limestone Health Facility in Athens, Alabama.
Born Sunday, July 18, 1926 in Athens, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Lester Nichols and the late Clara Clem Nichols. She was a member of Jennings Chapel Church of Christ. She loved working in flowers and gardening, enjoyed outdoor farm life, loved family gatherings, and especially loved helping other people. She was preceded in death by her parents, a husband: Ronald H. Malone, a grandson: Joseph Malone, two sisters: Rachel Reyer and Merel Scroggins Cole, and two brothers: Leonard Nichols and Willie Nichols.
Surviving are sons, Ronnie (Betty) Malone of Athens, AL, Mark (Jo Ann) Malone of Athens, AL, Tony (Donna) Malone of Huntsville, AL and Randy (Janning) Malone of Athens, AL, daughter, Lucy (Roger) Jones of Ardmore, AL, brother, Frank Nichols of Westland, MI, sister, Lilly Mae Hemphill of Clinton, IA, grandsons: Kevin Malone, Brad Malone, Jake Malone, Mack Malone, Colby Malone and Will Jones, granddaughters: Margie Adams, Amanda Malone, Tina Jones Buis, Laurie McGuire, and Miranda Malone, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Tim Murray officiating. Burial will be in Pettusville Cemetery, Elkmont, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
