Bea Matthews, 94, of Iuka, MS passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Southern Magnolia Estates. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed attending church services. Mrs. Bea also liked to read, sew, and complete crossword and Sudoku puzzles. Her greatest blessings in life were her family, especially her grand children and great grand children. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Wilson; her granddaughter, Tammy Cameron (Jack); her grandsons, Denny Pugh, Jr. and Cory Wilson; her great grandchildren, Cara Macareno (Jorge), Jesse Pugh, Gracie Wilson, Stephanie Pugh, Cason Wilson, and Keeton Wilson; and her great, great grandchildren, Alex Macareno, Tyler Macareno, and Lilly Pugh. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sula Johnson; her husband, Hilton O. Matthews; her daughter, Betty Jolene Pugh; her great granddaughter, Crystal Pugh; her great great grand daughter, Natalie Aguilar; her brother, Curtis Hutcheson; her sister, Irene Pugh; and her son in law, Denny Pugh, Sr. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 11am until 1pm at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 1pm, at Cutshall Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Jamie Nanney. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cory Wilson, Joey Smith, Denny Pugh, Jr., Jesse Pugh, Jorge Macareno, Jack Cameron, Alex Macareno, and Gary Littlejohn. Donations may be made in Mrs. Bea’s honor to First Freewill Baptist Church.
