FLORENCE-Chloe’s Fund volunteer bakers have been working nonstop on their BE MY VALENTINE BAKE SALE treats for furbabies and their people. 100% of the money raised from the Bake Sale provides funds for emergency medical care for animals at Florence Lauderdale Animal Services. The Bake Sale is Saturday, February 11 from 10am to 1pm at Florence Lauderdale Animal Services, 3240 Roberson Rd, Florence, AL.
We have cakes, cookies, cupcakes, pies and various treats for you and your furbaby! Our volunteer bakers have become well known for their specialty items and all items are made fresh to order, quantities are limited. It’s best to preorder our goodies – the menu is posted on the following Facebook pages; Chloe’s Fund for Medical Needs of Florence Shelter Animals and Florence Lauderdale Animal Services. Chloe’s Fund was started in March of 2017 after shelter volunteers, Glen and Debby Nelson lost their beloved dog of 16 years, Chloe. After Chloe’s passing, the Nelsons set out on a mission to help as many sick and injured Florence Lauderdale Animal Services animals as possible. Since its inception, Chloe’s Fund vetted and saved the lives of countless numbers of animals suffering from various illnesses in need of medical attention.
