Barry M. Schaller, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, peacefully passed away on April 19, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 10, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Gilbert and Ruth Schaller, Barry lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and a profound love for his family.
Barry dedicated many years of his life as a machinist for a division of General Motors, where his skills and commitment were valued by all who knew him. Outside of his professional life, Barry found joy in tinkering with cars, a passion that brought him fulfillment and satisfaction.
Barry’s greatest source of pride and joy was his family. He shared 53 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Millie L. Schaller, and together they nurtured and guided three wonderful children: Jody M. Schaller, Rodney J. (Brandilyn) Schaller, and Christie L. (Jonathan) Jacobs.
Barry’s legacy lives on through his adoring grandchildren: Justin, Austin, Brendan, Mackenzie, Casey, Jessie, Breanna, and Riley, each of whom held a special place in his heart. His great-grandchildren, Casen, Kaiden, Cohen, and Kinslee, brought him immense joy and added even more love to his life.
Barry will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering support, and the love he shared with all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
