Barry Jay Hester, age 54 of Cullman, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at UAB Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. James Aaron and Johnny Freeman will officiate.
Mr. Hester was preceded in death by his Father-Elonzo Presley Hester; Mother-Loverintrice Bryant Hester; Daughter-Rachel Hester; Brother-Billy Hester; Sister-Patricia Hester; Mother-in-law-Margie Burton.
He is survived by his Wife-Sharon Denise Burton Hester; Son-Bradley Hester; Sisters-Linda Mauldin and Drusilla McClusky; Brothers-Bobby Hester (Jan) and Terry Hester (Kim); Father-in-law-Jimmy Burton; Sister-in-law-Carol Aderholt (David); Brother-in-law-Donald Burton (Daphne); Grandchild-Sadie Hester; Host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
