Barry Eugene Cummings, age 57, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital.
Barry was thought of so well by the many who knew him. He will be so missed.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter who he was so proud of, Tara Cummings; stepbrother, Jerry Ray (Amy) stepsister, Buffy Hudson (Rodney); several nieces & nephews; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Eugene Cummings; mother, Clara Nell Scott Ray; stepmother, Shirley Cummings; and stepfather, Paul Ray.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Seth Hood and Bro. Doug Farris officiating the service. The burial will be at Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg.
The pallbearers will be Mike Jackson, Greg Pounders, Jimmy Dale Vandiver, Kevin Busler, Barry Howell, and Keith Sullivan. The honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Ray, Chris Pace, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, and the Divorce Care Ministry.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
