Barry Earl Hall Sr.

Barry Earl Hall Sr., 76, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at the State Veterans Home in Oxford.  He was born to Sammy Earl Hall and Bettye Mae Hall in Tupelo. He graduated from Tupelo High School. After high school he joined the U.S. Navy. He served in the Vietnam War in the Assault Craft Unit. He received the National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal during his deployment.  His passion was riding and working on motorcycles. He enjoyed watching westerns and cartoons. He was an outdoors man, loved animals, and a people person; always cracking jokes and making people smile. He never met a stranger.

He is survived by his daughter, Terri Freeman (John) of Guntown; son Barry E. Hall Jr. “Buddy” of Guntown; sisters, Kathy Colburn (Mark) and Phyllis Leonard; three grandchildren, Corrina Hall, Colby Hall (Sera) and Cason Hall (Ashley); four great-grandchildren, Ashton, Bo, Chase, and Emmy; five bonus grandchildren; five bonus great grandchildren; one niece, Angela Aquino (Chris); and one nephew, Trey Leonard (Abbey).

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Monday, November 4, 2024 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be at 11:00 am Monday, November 4, 2024 at Lee Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be John Freeman, Trey Leonard, Chris Shackelford, and Casey Shackelford.
