Barry Allen “Bear” Bivens, age 61, of Leoma, TN passed away Friday, September 20, 2024. He was a native of Pendleton, KY, a truck driver for Summertown Metals, and a member of Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church. Mr. Bivens served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Allen “Jimmy” Bivens.
He is survived by his mother, Gladys Springer of Leoma, TN; one brother, Jeffrey Albert Bivens of Nashville, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday, September 23, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, September 23, 2024, with Kevin Marston and John Horne officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church.
