Barnie Meeks Warren

  Funeral services for Mr. Barnie Meeks Warren, age 90, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Union United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 PM until service time on Saturday at the church.

Mr. Warren passed away peacefully on February 28, 2023 at Hillview Community Living Center in Dresden, TN after a brief illness.

Mr. Warren was a faithful member of Union United Methodist Church in Trenton, TN. He worked at Brown Shoe Company for many years before retiring and started working at the Trenton Housing Authority. He also served in the Army National Guard for several years of his life.

Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Doris Marie Warren; his parents, Preacher Harvel Warren and Mamie Georgia Ary; three sisters, Mattie Fay Warren, Edith Becton, and Eva Johnson; three brothers, Oran Paul Warren, William Henry Warren, and Herbert Warren; and two children, Donald Ray Warren and Linda Carol Taylor.

Mr. Warren is survived by his children, Mary Anne Harlan, Patty (Thomas) Chandler, Rusty (Vince Fayette) Ross, Gail Smith, Wayne Ross, and Bobby Taylor; his grandchildren, Ben Harlan, Cody Lockard, Drew Dickinson, Laura Leach, Hinton Carlton, Ryley Ross – Fayette, Lucas Ross – Fayette, and Cassidy Ross; and great grandchildren, Ava Harlan, Mason Lockard, Lyric Lockard, Melody Lockard, Olivia Dickinson, Layla Dickinson, Cullen Leach, Lane Leach, Brinley Schoonover, and Treyton Schoonover.
