Barbara Sue Quiggin, age 66, a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor James Norton officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2020 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on April 1, 1954 in Flint, Michigan, Barbara was the daughter of Patsy Sue McDaniel Lee and the late Robert Lee Noel. She was a 1972 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and worked fourteen years for Waffle House, most recently as the Unit Manager. She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. Barbara was an outgoing, feisty lady who was full of energy and never met a stranger. She loved her family and lived for taking trips to the beach.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Alisha Quiggin of Columbia; brother, Robert Lee Noel, Jr. of Columbia; sisters: Pam Kalakay of Columbia, Shandra (Andy) Rock of Memphis; and grandchildren: Marisa Holt and Karis Holt.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Quiggin and son, Eric Holt.
Barbara’s family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
