Barbara Sue Looney, age 63, Russellville, passed away on Sunday, June 07, 2015 at Helen Keller Hospital.
Sue was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She worked for several years as a LPN at Russellville Hospital.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 09, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Gerald Ricketts. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 47 years; Roland Looney; daughters, Renae Stegall (husband, Keith), Terri Hill (husband, Doug); grandchildren, Molley Vandiver, Ryan Saint, Benjamin Stegall; great-granddaughter, Christine Hooven; sister, Sandra Suddith (husband, Randy), brother, Kenneth “Sambo” Laws (wife, June); and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Toni Looney; mother, Frances Ricketts; father, Buford Ricketts; sister, Fay Wilkinson; and brother, Eddie Ricketts.
The pallbearers will be Randy Suddith, Ethan Ricketts, Chris Waldrep, Benjamin Stegall, Keith Stegall, and Tim Skidmore. The honorary pallbearer will be Kenny Ricketts.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses who took care of our family.
